Description
The five-acre Prouty Place State Park is five miles southwest of PA 44 along Long Toe Road. This remote park offers access to hunting, fishing and hiking within the surrounding Susquehannock State Forest.
Geography:

The highlight of this remote park is Prouty Run; a part of the East Fork Sinnemahoning drainage of the Susquehanna Watershed. Dense northern hardwood stands surround the park and are part of the Susquehannock State Forest. Prouty's quiet and primitive facilities provide park users with a starting point for fishing, hunting and other recreational opportunities that this area of the Appalachian Plateau provides.
